Pig Farm Section Manager

Job Description

Protential Group are recruiting for an experienced Pig Farm Section Manager for a busy Pig Farm. Pig Farm Section Managers are responsible for planning and directing all production phases on the farm and implement processes and action plans. They provide daily leadership and direction to all farm staff to ensure that all safety procedures are in place.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of bachelor’s degree in animal science, Agricultural Education, Livestock Management, Swine Management, and other related courses.

Experience

• Has at least 3 to 5 years MANAGERIAL or Professional work experience in the pig industry. 
• We prefer applicants who has an experience in all sections of Swine Management especially in farrowing and breeding unit/section.
• Experienced with a large scale of sows. Knowledgeable about Artificial Inseminations.
• Professional Certification on the said field is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable about modern indoor pig unit/s
• Can work in a fast phased and high-tech work environment.
• Has an experience on how to operate farm tools?
• Initiator of good and productive planning and strategies in pig farming
• Will be task and result oriented person.
• Exhibits strong leadership qualities for they will be the one to manage and oversee processes on the said field.
• Knowledgeable about MS Office and other database
• Must be good in making weekly and monthly reports.
• Proficient both in verbal and oral communication skills
• Will be a good communicator and a team player.
• Flexible, Hardworking, dedicated, diligent and can work under minimal supervision.
