CNC Miller Operators

Job Description

Protential Group are recruiting for experienced and confident CNC Miller Operator. You will have the ability to work with a small team and produce high precision components for multiple industries. This is a great opportunity for the right person to take oversee the running of the machining processes.

The Role:

Machining all types of materials but predominately steels, mild steels, opportunity for progression within the company for successful individuals who is meeting work targets on time and to high quality standard.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Must have experience of 3 and 4 axis machining.
• Experienced CNC Miller.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to use CADCAM and Solidworks to machine from drawings or from solid models.
• Be able to work with Quality and Engineering to improve processes and efficiencies
• Able to design and manufacture fixturing when required.
• Capable of selecting and acquiring the correct tooling for each job.
• Able to work to deadlines and consistently produce high quality work and prioritise jobs to meet urgent deadlines.
• Understand Quality systems such as ISO9001 and possibly TS16949 or As9100.
• Must have excellent communication skills and very good English speaking and written.
